About The Artist:

Kiela is both an experienced and accomplished professional make up artist and hair stylist with an eye for artistry, color and detail - specializing in bridal make up and hair artistry. She works consistently on both the East and the West Coast as a make up artist and hair stylist with her own company - Make up Your World. Having had the opportunity to work with Bobbi Brown on several different occasions, Kiela is often invited to represent Bobbi Brown Professional Cosmetics, as a Guest Artist for the day. She has also represented other professional artistry lines such as Laura Mercier, Calvin Klein, Christian Dior and Smashbox. As the Resident Make up Artist at two of the most successful day spa and salons in Seattle-the Gary Manuel Salon and the Habitude Day Spa & Salon Art Gallery - she cultivated her hair styling and grooming skills and then later trained with various professionals to create elegant up-dos. However, most of Kiela's artistry skills come from an innate sense of color and design, as well as many years of experience and application.

Products:

Kiela uses primarily Bobbi Brown Professional Cosmetics in her artist's kit-a long-lasting, professional artistry line, suitable for every skin type, as well as every ethnic skin tone. "I believe strongly in the quality, endurance, philosophy, performance and science of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics & Skincare. I've had first-hand, practical experience with her products for the last 8 years. I am confident that when the bride leaves my hands, not only does she radiate with beauty but the only thing she will have to touch up, is her lips...after kissing her new husband."

 

Consultation:

Kiela will travel to and meet with you for an initial hour & a half to three hours in order to qualify your concerns, clarify your color scheme, suggest products to prepare your skin and hair for the wedding day and to apply a rehearsal make up application and/or hair style, based on your discussion. Afterwards, Kiela will fill out a face chart with your uniquely designed color scheme and take a picture of your hair, leaving no questions or concerns regarding make up and/or hair on the day of your wedding.
